The Summer Session is nine weeks long and runs from Monday, June 5 to Friday, August 11, 2006. Download a PDF of the enrollment form.
Summer Camps are one week long and begin at 8am with fun warm-ups and group team building activities. At 9am each group will break out into their specific camp. Lunch will be provided.
Group Classes such as Garage Band and Small Ensemble Guitar classes will meet once a week for six weeks.
Private Instruction is available once a week for nine weeks. Instruction hours will be Monday–Friday between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
Multi-Camp Discounts are offered as 10% off of your tuition by enrolling in more than one week of summer camp. The discount does not apply to private instruction, Camp Shakespeare or the Girls Mini Camps.
End of Camp Presentations will be held on Friday at the end of each camp. See your camp teaching artist for more details.
Scholarships are offered for tuition assistance and are available on a “first-come, first-served” basis to those students demonstrating the greatest level of financial need. Apply early as scholarship monies are limited. For more information or a scholarship application, contact the Registrar at 816.531.4022 ext. 1000.

Rescheduling Private Lessons: Students are allowed one rescheduled lesson pending their instructor’s availability.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: KCYA reserves the right to cancel any camp with fewer than our minimum number of students enrolled. Timely registration will help keep your chosen camp open—so enroll early! Should KCYA cancel a camp due to low enrollment, every effort will be made to notify you 48 hours prior and a full refund of fees paid will be issued.
If you withdraw your child from a course prior to the first day of class, your tuition will be refunded less a $10 processing fee per course. No refunds will be given after the second meeting of any class except for documented medical reasons.
Students Drop Off and Pick Up Times:
Drop off: 8am
Arts Sampler pick up: 12:30pm
Other camps pick up: 4pm
Extended Day pick up: 5:30pm
All campers should be dropped off and picked up in the Commons of the Music and Arts building, unless your confirmation letter states otherwise. Please enter the building through the double glass doors on the Wyandotte side of the campus.
