Arts Partners
Planning Worksheet
The Arts Partners program combines the high-quality programs of Kansas City Young Audiences with educational resources of Kansas City's best arts organizations to enhance the education of students.
The Arts Partners program reaches nearly 125,000 school children every year! Schools and school districts work with an Arts Partners Coordinator to develop a fully-integrated plan that provides age-appropriate programming utilizing the resources of the entire arts community.
Two principles guide the Arts Partners program:
The benefits to joining Arts Partners include the specific attention of a trained coordinator to help you pick the best programs for every grade level, the simplicity and efficiency of installment billing and preferred scheduling. Arts Partners plans are due each May (exceptions are allowed) and scheduling can take place during the summer; thus programs and field trips can be completely scheduled when school resumes in the fall. We also recommend that all Arts Partners plans include some professional development programs for the school's teachers, enabling them to assist in the full integration of arts education with the curriculum that will enhance the success of the program.
