Booking information

Call the School & Community Programs Coordinator at 816.531.4022 ext. 1009 between 8:30am and 4:30pm to schedule a performance or workshop.

Don’t forget! You’ll need to know:

Three possible dates and times for your selected program(s)
How many students will participate
What grade levels will participate

Once your performance(s) or workshop(s) are confirmed, a written confirmation/invoice will be mailed to you at least three weeks prior to the performance date and will also include a teacher program guide and evaluation form.

Payment is due five days prior to the scheduled program date. Please mail your check to Kansas City Young Audiences. Artists may not accept payment on our behalf.

Title 1 Subsidies
Title 1 schools in both Missouri and Kansas are eligible to receive programs at a discounted price. These discounts are made possible by the Missouri Arts Council and the Kansas Arts Commission. A maximum of two program subsidies per school, per year applies and limited funds are available. More program funding ideas can be found here.

Cancellations KCYA will notify you immediately if an artist is unable to perform due to inclement weather or illness. We will make every effort to reschedule the program or offer a different program. If you need to cancel a program, please call us 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) prior to the scheduled program. Clients who do not cancel 48 hours in advance will be billed the full cost of the program.
