Two or more students comprise an ensemble that will explore various genres of guitar: classical, flamenco, jazz, bossa nova, rock, and American folk.

Students will have the opportunity to play, collaborate, and create with others in a "garage" rock band format. Every member will try out the various instruments and roles: electric guitar, electric bass, drums, acoustic guitar, keyboard, and vocals. Through experimentation and practice, the group will create its own unique sound. Prerequisite: instructor recommendation.

Private instruction is available in instrumental and vocal music for 30 or 60 minute lessons once a week for nine weeks. There will be no instruction the week of July 4. Teaching artists are available for a wide variety of instruments, please inquire about specifics.
