Come explore the world through art! Learn a variety of art media as you recreate art forms of various cultures and countries of the world such as Aztec Tiles of Mexico, Tribal African masks, European Impressionism and more!

An exciting introduction to drawing! Students will create realistic still-life drawings using a variety of materials - pencils, charcoal, stumps, measuring rods, conte crayons, various papers, erasers etc. The class emphasizes drawing techniques such as shading, line, measurement, shape, and contrast. Projects will be modified to challenge the more advanced students.

Students will be introduced to a variety of visual arts media in this class. They will explore their imaginations and creativity using drawing, painting, and clay sculpture techniques.
