You will have the opportunity to work with visiting storytellers, poets, and actors to develop your creativity. Prerequisite: Students must know and be able to write the alphabet, but do not have to know how to read.

True Life Stories
Write your own stories and your family's stories in a dramatic way that will have your readers begging to hear more. Writers will also create realistic fiction, based on personal passions and hobbies and perhaps event on the interesting characters in their lives.

Interested in fantasy settings? Then this imaginative, playful class is for you! We will begin by creating a fantasy world together, talking about animals, plant life, geography, holidays, government, belief systems and even language. As the term progresses, each student will develop her or his own world. Come prepared to write, draw and use your imagination to create a display that shows off your work for parents and other students at the Community School of the Arts!
