ArtReach is the community outreach program of Kansas City Young Audiences
and the Community School of the Arts.
Connecting children to community. After-school and summer camp centers are the perfect place to help Kansas City's youth connect to their hidden talents and their community. Kansas City Young Audiences partners with after-school centers and programs to provide high-quality art instruction. Professional actors, directors, dancers, choreographers, musicians, poets and visual artists help students explore ideas and themes in their art making.
Previous ArtReach clients have provided their students with classes in African Dance, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop Dance, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, and more. Additionally, all of our teaching artists participate in youth development training, provided by Kansas City Young Audiences.
